i suddenly realised how long i've been gone. quite understandably, i thought about deleting this blog, but when i read through it, i decided that i shouldn't after all. now i'm back again and hopefully to stay. a lot has happened since my last post, but it's such a handful i don't think i can ever put them down in words. after all, some things are best experienced by the heart. emotions overflowing your heart that no words can describe.
it would appear that i'm running on countdown mode. yet again. and there are oh-so-many things still undone. debts to settle, misunderstandings to clear, appreciation to be said aloud. friendships to bid farewell to, a new life to welcome. and yes, i mean it when i say bidding farewell to those friendships. after all, no matter what you think, it's not possible to remain such good friends without the determination to do so. once the determination is gone, all is lost. rather cliche too, no? but logical.
looking on the bright side, there are, of course, good things to celebrate too. my rekindled passion for music, for one. it wasn't easy, and it won't be either to keep that passion. when certain things become requisites, that's when passion flies out of the window. and it becomes just another something that you have to do. that's what requisites can do to you. and your life, for that matter.
i have to admit that i'm on the losing side. it's hard to win time. no matter how hard you want time to freeze, it doesn't happen. right now that's what i want. i have too many things to do, too many things to lose if time flies past again. but just thinking this doesn't stop it from happening. if i want to counter time, i have to start moving. against it or with it, does it even matter? every week i see someone losing to time, and someone else rushing for time. i don't want to be like that. but time is no easy friend, i'll warn you first.
i greatly admire musicians. after all, how can i not do so? oh, the beauty of music.
